To celebrate the end of the exhibition Smog a Los Angeles, CRAC Alsace is pleased to invite you to the screening of two films by Pier Paolo Pasolini, Elisabetta Benassi’s subject of video and performative explorations.
The work of the filmmaker and the writer is to rediscover in this context with the screening of two films selected and presented by Jean-Pierre Rehm, critic and général delegate of FIDMarseille, and in the presence of Elisabetta Benassi.

Notebooks for an African Oresteia

Pier Paolo Pasolini arrives in an African country. He takes some notes, with his camera, to prepare his next film, a transposition of the Oresteia of Aeschylus’ tragedy in Africa today. Back in Italy, he presents his first images to a group of African students at the University of Rome.
